Jesus said, “come to me…and I will give you rest”, but most of us don’t have time for that do we? Even if we did, what does it mean to truly rest? We’ve definitely mastered entertainment, but we probably wouldn’t relate our latest Netflix binge to Jesus’ invitation here, would we? (Wait does “The Chosen” count??) Dallas Willard once said, “hurry is the great enemy of spiritual life in our day.” What would it look like to lean in and learn together from our “never-in-a-hurry” rabbi?
