Instagram stories are one of the best places to make money. This week, Emmy wants to share four hacks to help you get more views on your Instagram Stories...as well as some friendly reminders of what not to do. This Instagram Stories Strategy episode will help you make more money on the GRAM. 

MONEY HITS- THINGS YOU CAN PUT INTO ACTION TODAY TO MAKE MONEY

One of the most important things is to NOT be boring. You have to show your weird side. The perfect place for this is Instagram Stories. It may be your hobbies, stuff you collect, your obsession with a TV show, or whatever else you think is too weird to share. 

It's no secret that being yourself is your superpower, and when you let your "weirdness" come through in your stories, you make it possible for others to relate to and connect with you. Share your authentic self in your stories and connect with others more deeply. Your conversations and connections will pay off. 

Two: You must be using video. Emmy is referring to the FaceTime effect. You are face to face with the camera, just like you're talking to a friend. Face-to-face engagement builds trust and familiarity with your audience. A business without video is not even a business sister! 

Video content is still Queen. Imagine the amount of traction you can get just by spending two minutes out of 24 hours of your time talking to people. You will be serving your ideal client by talking to the camera like you're talking to your best friend. The power of connecting is literally money with this hack.

Three, avoid overusing engagement stickers. These are important but you want to be careful not to overuse them as an engagement sticker on each story can be overwhelming to your audience and they could click off and never come back.

Make them a part of the conversation...allowing the viewers to interact with the stickers is a great way for them to connect. And remember, conversations equal cash. So be strategic with the stickers in a way that will have peeps in your DM's organically. 

The fourth thing you can do to increase your story views is what I like to call the engagement igniter. As of now, this engagement igniter still works...for some reason, Instagram hasn't figured it out yet. Here's what you do...in order to increase your story views, I want you to use it once a week, every week in your strategy...by using the poll feature with the strategy of a 'this or that' story series at the beginning of your stories for the day.
