4/05/2022 Warrnambool Day 2 & Canterbury Midweek Preview

For progroupracing.com.au, Daggy & Beaver are back to preview day 2 of the ‘Bool, as well as a quick look through midweek Sydney Metropolitan racing from Canterbury.

Day 2 of the Warrnambool carnival is headlined by the feature Galleywood Hurdle & the Listed Wangoom Handicap.

The boys are tipping a big day for local trainer Lindsay Smith as he rolls out a couple of his lightly raced charges throughout the afternoon and we see champion jockeys Damien Oliver, Hugh Bowman & Jamie Kah all make the trip down south to ride throughout the carnival.

An interesting card at Canterbury featuring some 2YO & 3YO maidens as well as benchmark Saturday racing, hopefully there is a winner or two along the way.
