Praise Yahweh for His sovereignty
Psalm 47
I will give thanks to Yahweh according to His righteousness and will sing praise to the name of Yahweh Most High. (7:17)
I will give thanks to Yahweh with all my heart; I will tell of all Your wonders.
I will be glad and exult in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.
(9:1-2)
“Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving and pay your vows to the Most High; (50:14)
“Cease striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” Yahweh of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our stronghold. Selah. (46:10)

To worship in holy array or attire suggests that worship should be done in a manner that is holy and reverent. This implies approaching God with respect and sincerity, acknowledging His holiness and righteousness. “Holy array” can be understood as a state of being, set apart and consecrated for worship.

Praise and thanks are connected. Psalm 7:17; 30:4, 12; 35:18; 69:30
Psalm 100:4-5 Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name. For Yahweh is good; His lovingkindness is everlasting and His faithfulness to all generations.
Psalm 50:14, 23 “Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving and pay your vows to the Most High; “He who offers a sacrifice of thanksgiving honors Me; and to him who orders his way aright I shall show the salvation of God.”

Psalm 136:1-26
1 Corinthians 14:14-18 For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my mind is unfruitful. What is the outcome then? I will pray with the spirit and I will pray with the mind also; I will sing with the spirit and I will sing with the mind also.
Otherwise if you bless in the spirit only, how will the one who fills the place of the ungifted say the “Amen” at your giving of thanks, since he does not know what you are saying? For you are giving thanks well enough, but the other person is not edified. I thank God, I speak in tongues more than you all;
Speaking in tongues was not available when the Psalms were written but is readily available right now.
