I’m beginning an ambitious new project that I’m calling the Legacy Series. What I want to do in these episodes is interview parents, aunts, uncles, and other older individuals who have contributed to my life. I want to get to know them better, hear their stories, and help to preserve their legacies for their families and future generations.

I decided to start this series with my parents, because clearly no two people have had a bigger impact on who I am as a man, a husband, and a step-parent today. I’m honored to be joined first of all by my Dad, Bill Cavey, who is 71 years old at the time of this recording.

In this episode, my Dad and I continue our previous conversation and reflect on some of the defining moments of his life to date.
