Our bodies remember everything. The body is part of our subconscious. Usually the unpleasant, unprocessed emotions get stored away in our bodies, to resurface when triggered. To feel is to heal, but it is not easy. Being in a safe space, with a safe compassionate witness is a vital key to healing. Most people find going within and doing this work too challenging and scary, but in facing this discomfort- safely- and going through the initial unpleasantness usually results in changing behaviours, patterns, beliefs and creating new skills to use in life’s challenges. On the other side of these faulty patterns & programming is more inner peace, more joy- even during events that previously might have triggered us…..the journey within is the way to the self. It is the path less travelled but is traversed by the courageous.
