Rachel is a Toronto-based professional makeup and hair artist specializing in natural, glamour, camouflage, and airbrush makeup techniques.  She is highly credited for her unique method of “freestyle” formal hair designs and a master at her craft. Rachel is passionate about utilizing her skills to make her clients look and feel their very best.  Bridal parties rave about her positive and calm demeanor as well as natural-born talent for the art of makeup and hair, making her the perfect addition to the most special day of any bride-to-be!

She is a well-rounded artist who thrives in creative environments, bringing unique visions and concepts to editorial projects as well as SPFX applications for print/tv/film. 

Always excited to work with a great crew, she never fails to bring value to the team project and works exceptionally well under pressure.

Not only a 3rd generation M.U.A.H.(Make-up Artist/Hairstylist) but also having completed – at the top of her class – both an Undergraduate Degree at the University of Toronto and subsequently her Makeup Artistry & Hairstyling Certification from Sheridan College, Rachel is not only a great example of aptitude and commitment she is also an unstoppable force in the industry and on her way to the top!

In this episode we will chat about Rachel’s Story: How she got into the beauty industry, tips on growing as a makeup artist, how to overcome challenges especially when under pressure & in the spotlight as well as a BTS look at some of her experiences such as working at TIFF, on TV sets as well as doing makeup at the Royal Wedding,
