The word and the Spirit always work together and, in order to develop in the Spirit life, the word must be active and alive within believers. Having a balance of both the word and the Spirit is crucial to a healthy, fully supplied Church. To be led by the Spirit is to be led by the Word, not by feelings or emotions.
