It takes more than a pretty feed to get scrollers to click follow. Still, Instagram isn't just about being visually appealing, it has to be entertaining or educational for your audience. It's like the magazine of your social media, it has to look good. First impressions matter, right?

In this episode, I'm going to show you four ways to make your Instagram look more attractive so you can stop the scroll and get your ideal client to click follow. I'm making sure you walk away with these things that will instantly upgrade your Instagram.

Number One: Your Bio

Make sure your bio is optimized.  In episode 18, How to Optimize Your Instagram Bio for Massive Growth, I talk about how to make your Instagram Bio convert. Make sure you share how you serve or help others on their journey, not just how you are awesome. You need this if you want to grow your following.

Don't forget to show off your smiling face too. Not only does a smile make you look more attractive, but it makes you feel more approachable. And approachable is what leads to conversations, and what do conversations lead to… CASH.

Number Two: Brand Colors

Colors are so important for your brand, and it goes beyond your favorite colors. Would you believe I hate orange? Orange conveys a feeling I want my audience to have--courage, success, bravery, and confidence. Google color psychology for branding ideas, and for marketing for that specific color. When you read about those emotions, if they match what you want your ideal client to feel, then make that your main color.

Number Three: Your Main Feed

Your Instagram feed can look great.  When it comes to your feed, here are a couple of things to keep in mind. Don't make it matchy matchy. There's no need for grids or patterns. Quote, picture, quote, picture, or something like that. Back in the day, that worked with Instagram, but now it doesn't. You still want it to feel like one brand. Don't forget that.

When we talk reels, what's your cover photo? It's one of the things you'll do to make your Instagram look cool. It can't just be any photo you post, or your feed will lack cohesion and not look good. In Reels, there are two ways to create covers...Mix them both up. It's okay to use the video itself on your reel, or you can use Canva to create a cover photo.

Number Four: Your Photos

Here's how to make your Instagram look good- photos. It's important to think about how your photos look and how you're using them. Video gets your face out there, but the right still photo can do a lot. Include a good caption along with a well-lit photo. They're also great for reel covers. By creating a brand image with your photos, you can make your Instagram stand out.
