40 Days of Passion - The Journey To The Cross

Sean Brannon talks with us about the interaction between Jesus on the cross and his mother. To the end, Jesus kept and fulfilled the law.

In the last moments before his death, as he hung on the cross, Jesus displayed forgiveness and concern for the people around him. Karina Nissley encourages we forgive and have compassion and mercy for the people around us like our Savior.

David Lunsford highlights the injustice of Jesus' death and the blindness of his executioners as we read from Luke 23:32-33

Melissa Parlin shares today from Luke 23:27-28 about Jesus' interaction with the women mourning him on his way to the cross.

Today, we talk about how Simon of Cyrene, the man who helped carry Jesus' cross, is an example of what we, as believers, should do daily as we pick up our own crosses and follow Him. For day 26 of our 40 Day Journey to the Cross, Pastor Perry Dissmore leads us in the reading of Luke 23;26.

For day 25 of our 40 Day Journey to the Cross, we read from Matthew 27:26. In this passage, Joy Richards helps us dive deeper into understanding the true sacrifice and suffering that Jesus went through in order for us to be forgiven and saved once and for all.

We read from Matthew 27:22-23 as we discuss the idea of the way we serve the one and only way to salvation. Ben Perry leads us in our devotion for day 24 of our 40 Day Journey to the Cross, as we learn more about the Savior of the world, Jesus.

Pastor Larry talks to us today about how surrender is the pathway to victory for day 23 of our 40 Day Journey to the Cross. Join us as we read from Matthew 27:1-2 and learn how Jesus' victory, is our victory as well.

We are joined again, today, by Vanessa, to examine Peter's denial of Jesus as we examine our own heart's willingness to be identified as one who was with Jesus.

Today we see how Peter, in this instance, followed after Jesus even when it was hard and potentially dangerous. Pastor Marco encourages us to stay close to Jesus and seek after him even when the future seems unsure.
