Spare time. Something we don’t have much of, but we’re always striving to get more of. What do you do in your spare time? That’s what ’40 Going On 14′ is going to dig into this week.

Hobbies! What keeps you busy? Applehead dolls? Role playing? Digging shallow graves for your fallen enemies? Mike, Pat, Joel and Josh want to know and we want to share our personal hobbies as well.

We grew up on the 'Super Friends'. A show that took earth's mightiest heroes and made them, well, kind of lame. What we didn't realize was that there was a Justice League that was anything but lame.

This week, on '40 Going on 14', we're revisiting Superman, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, Cyborg and a slew of others as we take on Bruce Timm's 'Justice League' and the Zack Snyder-verse version.

It's going to get dark, as two worlds collide. Are you ready to take on the challenge? Also, who knew Aquaman was such a cool superhero?

To sleep, perchance to dream. We all have to sleep, but do we all dream? On this very special episode of '40 Going On 14', we're wearing our comfy pajamas and snuggling up for some late night chatter about the art of sleeping & dreams.

How many hours a night do we need? What's our bedtime rituals? What the heck is up with night terrors? Who needs Freddy Krueger, when you've experienced this phenomenon!

We've spent a large portion of our lives in a state of slumber, so we pretty much think we're experts. Pull the blankets up around your head and pull your feet under the covers. It's the sleeping and dreams sho…. zzzz….

Back in the 80's Eddie Murphy was "a thing", everyone knew his Gumby and Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood from SNL, and he had started a solid movie career with 48 Hours, Trading Places and Beverly Hills Cop. He had also stepped into music with Party All The Time, starring Eddie and Rick James. (and more recently My Name Is Dolomite! Check out that show HERE!) But then, he teamed up with Arsenio Hall, who was rising to the top of his game also, hosting The Arsenio Hall Show which ran from '89-'94, and also voicing Winston Zeddmore on the Real Ghostbusters! (Remember that?!)

The result of that sweet, sweet paring of "guys who like to play dress up" was Coming To America, the heartwarming rom-com(?) of Prince Akeem and his search for true love in Queens. It was a hit, and grossed over $288M worldwide, so the sequel Coming 2 America (see what they did?) was no surprise. In this Amazon Original Prince Akeem is back on the trail in Queens, but this time looking for the son he did not know he had!

That's right! We're talking about 'The Dukes of Hazzard'. YEE HAW!

A true classic film is something that just happens. During the 70's Jack Nicholson was at the peak of his game and when he teamed up with Milos Forman, magic was made and the world was given 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest'. This last year, Ryan Murphy and Sarah Paulson had a similar team up with 'Ratched'.

The prequel, of sorts, based on the Louise Fletcher character from the film. Is it a classic as well? You'll have to listen to this episode '40 Going On 14' to find out! Mike is off this week and our friend, Blake, from the 'History of Bad Ideas' podcast is joining us. Do you want your cigarettes? You'll have to ask Nurse Ratched nicely or you may end up like Billy Bibbit.

You might say we have a thing for our food shows (Snack Foods, Party Foods, International Foods #1 & #2 ). We love them. This week, we're putting these shows out to pasture, as we're cutting the cheese and associated dairy products! All four of us at '40 Going On 14' have a love for these delectable delights.

From the omnipresent cheese, to yogurt, ice cream and every little deliciousness in between.

Even if you're lactose intolerant, you will still find something to love in our cheese and dairy products show. It's not easy, being cheesy.

Love is in the air or is that last night's tikka masala? We've covered just about every major holiday on the calendar, but realized we'd missed one big one, Valentine's Day!

This week, it's all about love in all its many splendor. We've got our home made Valentine's Day mailboxes attached to our desk and are ready for some love.

Cupid has his bow strung and a quiver full of arrows. Are you ready to gorge yourself on some Conversation Hearts? Come spend 7 minutes in heaven with your four favorite podcasting cherubs! It's the Valentine's Day extravaganza!
