But what if we want to use the adjective? Well, If the name of a certain country does not end with ا or ــة , to form the adjective we just add ي for masculine and ـيـة for feminine. Examples, 

المغرب مغربي مغربية

الجزائر جزائري جزائرية

تونس تونسي تونسية

مصر مصري مصرية 

If the name of the country ends with ا ، we omit the Alif and  add ي for masculine and ـيـة for feminine. Examples,

فرنسا فرنسي فرنسية

المانيا ألماني ألمانية

إسبانيا إسباني إسبانية 

أستراليا أسترالي أسترالية

روسيا روسي روسية

كندا كندي كندية

سورية Syria

السعودية Saudi Arabia

If the name end with يـة ، then we omit the ـة for masculine and leave it for feminin. Examples

سورية سوري سورية

السعودية سعودي سعودية

PS, if the name of a certain country has the definite article الــ, when forming an adjective the الــ is omitted.
