The aloneness of Virgo’s 40 energy came rushing in without warning. My ideas of Aloneness have been expanded into dialogues around personal sovereignty alongside others. Not complete and isolated solitude but the purity of selfhood in community. A deep discernment of what I want, what fills me up, what nourishes me into livelihood, the guiding light of my hermit heart. 40 is activated by the Heart center, a motor center that connects us to the pulse of life. The intelligence of the Heart center exclaims what it is that we have to give this the world. It is the exchange network of material reality. The Heart is the center of tribal circuitry, of the propelling force to come together and tend to each other.

This quality of Virgo’s discernment shows us the importance of inidividual sovereignty. To know thyself is an exercise of our relationship to community. Not the generalized neighborly understanding of community. But the interconnected systems that hold us. Our bodies, our friends, our homes.

Our aloneness is the void from which the creative impulse is inspired into reality.

Our ego’s have involuted, meaning that in becoming a singular ME with preferences and differences and gifts, I am here to offer something that only I could. It is a normal and natural desire to be received and supported. It is apart of the ego’s process. The pulse of our heart is the connective thread to the timeless, omniscient soul Oneness that perhaps we all originated. This is the connection between the G-Center and the Heart working to guide us towards mutual coexistence by following love.

Love as the the rhythm and energy to move towards what it is we create and resonate with. To create, and work, and play to find out what it is that moves us. The reason to incarnate at all.

Observation Notes

Hexagram 40 : Relief

Continues to stress harmony to bring relief after hardship (39). A shapeshifting intelligent nature of progression or retreat in accessing what the situation calls for. Mutual support is highlighted in translation of 40’s energy. Thunder over Rain indicates the cleansing of the atmosphere. Once the rain exhausts itself, the land has been clarified. There is relief. This translation lends credit to interpretations that stress the importance of the Heart’s intelligence. When we force ourselves to enact during dangerous situations (thunderstorms), we fight the currents (rain). Once storms have passed, the danger has subsided. The danger of 40 is (perhaps) the shadow of exhaustion.

Gene Key 40: The Shadow of Exhaustion, The Gift of Resolve, The Siddhi of Divine Will

Physiologically related to the stomach- where we receive sustenance and nutrients. Gene key 40 is coded to the amino acid Glycine which serves as a sort of hinge/connecting bridge that provides the structure necessary to detox, integrate and rest. A lot of its functions move towards rest versus action. And is one of the most abundant amino acids in the body with about 11-12% of the bodies amino acid content. But because of its importance in collagen production and nervous system regulation it’s importance exceeds its volume.

Exhaustion is the unconscious loop of unsupportive systems that deplete without properly valuing rest and rejuvenation. Inadequate support collapses and siphons energy away from its aligned action. Support from others and equitable systems furthers our ability to exchange ourselves (our energy) in the material world. Resolve is therefore the experience of effort without force. The shadow of the 40th gene key speaks to natal chi that we were born with versus the natural life force flowing around us. When we are in alignment with our heart’s will we find ourselves doing work that doesn’t deplete our natal life force but is in flow with the natural forces of our reality.

Gate 40: Deliverance, the Gate of Aloneness

In our aloneness, we can find what it is we deliver into the world. In our personal sovereignty, we remember what is we desire to exchange and give of ourselves. In Human Design, the heart is the center of the tribal circuit which indicates the importance of our connection to one another. That our health, vitality and energetic coherence is built and maintained in our tribes. The people we coexist beside. This speaks of the importance of mutual reciprocity. Virgo season is a time of reclaiming personal sovereignty and discernment. It defines the borders between all homeostatic systems that work together to create harmonies. Gate 40 specifically invites us to look at see what it is we deliver. Our Heavenly Bodies as channels and messengers of divine gifts into the material plane. That WE are the epicenters of creation on the planet, along with the other living beings here beside us.

In a world full of inequalities at every level, this part of you may exhaust itself to perform and give too much or could show up as a resistance to cooperation with projects or others around you. Either way, this is an intelligence working through you to align yourself with actions and deeds that feel sustainable and reciprocal. Your exhaustion is an indicator of misalignment. No deed done in incongruence is regenerative. You have an uncanny ability to detect what works and what doesn’t.

You are here to provide the spiritual/emotional connection to exchange with your tribe. You are sensitive and aware of deeds/actions that consume personal power and sovereignty. Without a connection to the heart’s motor, you’re here to provide emotional support and clarity towards where the hearts energy can best benefit the tribe in exchange with one another. The 37 is a Piscean intelligence of knowing what improves and sustains the spirit of our connection to one another.

This is your seasonal reminder to rediscover the gifts you give to the world and if your service to the world adequately replenishes you; mind body and soul. 40 highlighted the physical exhaustion of the body, where you are running yourself ragged or have more to give. Where systems of support are needed and how to organize our lives to receive. This transit also highlights the importance of receptivity.
