There was a large body of Christian literature composed following the time the canonical New Testament was written. We will discuss why these writings are not considered Scripture or, in some cases, reliable accounts of Jesus and his teachings. In addition, we discuss ancient sources composed by non-Christians which include evidence for the existence of Jesus.
