It's time for the Feminine Frequency when Jennifer Mulak and I wander through a subject that's near and dear to our hearts, Winter. Inspired by the book Wintering by Catherine May, we talk about Winter's meaning and how we "intend" to shift our own ways of being during this special time of darkness and rest. But, first, we check in on how we spent the Solstice, and appreciate how ritual can have meaning even when there's not a lot of extra time for it. We consider what "rest" is, and how we relate to it, how we notice and redirect that internal voice that is stuck in habits that don't currently serve, the Wintering times in life that do not necessarily coincide with the Winter season, and contemplate the meaning of Kim Kran's Archetype card, "The Faultline" which I pulled last week for this season.
