The Iron Warriors were never the Legion people dreamed about. While other Legions earned glory through noble deeds, heroic victories, or the admiration of the Imperium, the Fourth Legion was sent to break the fortresses that others could not conquer.

Under Perturabo, the Iron Warriors became masters of siege warfare, attrition, and the grinding campaigns nobody else wanted. But centuries of sacrifice, rivalry, and resentment left their Primarch convinced that the Imperium had never truly valued him or his Legion.

When the Horus Heresy began, the Iron Warriors turned their talents against the very empire they had helped build. From the horrors of Olympia and the betrayal at Isstvan V to the Siege of Terra and the wars that followed, this is the story of Perturabo and the Legion that chose iron over loyalty.

The Emperor’s Children were created to embody excellence.

The Third Legion began the Great Crusade as disciplined warriors, diplomats, craftsmen, and exemplars of the Emperor’s vision for humanity. They survived a devastating gene-seed blight, rebuilt themselves under Fulgrim, and became one of the most accomplished Legions of the Great Crusade.

Then they found the Laer.

In this episode, we follow the Emperor’s Children from their origins through the Great Crusade, the corruption of Fulgrim and his sons, the betrayals at Isstvan III and Isstvan V, the Siege of Terra, and ten thousand years of existence in the service of Slaanesh.

Along the way, we look at some of the Legion’s most important figures, including Fulgrim, Fabius Bile, Lucius the Eternal, and Saul Tarvitz, as well as the forces and events that shaped the Third Legion into one of the most infamous of the Traitor Legions.

The Emperor’s Children wanted to become perfect.

They never realized that perfection was never going to be enough.

The Dark Angels are the First Legion — one of the oldest and most secretive Space Marine Chapters in the Imperium.Their story begins long before the Lion El'Jonson was found. It begins with the creation of the First Legion, continues through the dangerous forests of Caliban, and follows the complicated relationship between the Lion and Luther through the Great Crusade and the Horus Heresy. Then came the Fall of Caliban. The destruction of their homeworld, the disappearance of their Primarch, and the scattering of the Fallen would shape the Dark Angels for the next ten thousand years. From the Unforgiven and the Inner Circle to the Deathwing, Ravenwing, and Interrogator-Chaplains, the Chapter's history is still deeply connected to what happened on Caliban. And now, after ten thousand years, the Lion has returned. In this video, we'll take a look at the history of the Dark Angels, where they came from, how Caliban shaped them, what happened to Luther and the Fallen, and how the return of their Primarch has changed the Chapter.I'm still learning the lore myself, so if I got something wrong or missed an important detail, feel free to let me know in the comments. Space Marines are the legendary superhuman warriors of Warhammer 40,000 — but what exactly are they?In this video, we take a deep dive into the Adeptus Astartes: where they came from, their connection to the Primarchs, their role in the Imperium, how recruits are chosen and transformed, the organs and implants that make them Astartes, their weapons and power armour, how Space Marine Chapters operate, and why these warriors are so revered — and feared — throughout the Imperium. We'll also look at the difference between Firstborn and Primaris Marines and explore why the legacy of the Primarchs still shapes the Chapters ten thousand years later. This is a general overview of Space Marines, so we're not going deeply into individual Chapters or Primarchs here. Welcome to 40K Storytime with Cozy.

This short introduction is for anyone who wants to know a little more about the person behind the stories before diving into the lore.

I'm Cozy, and I'm relatively new to Warhammer 40,000 lore. I research the things that catch my attention, follow the rabbit holes wherever they lead, and then turn what I find into stories.

Most episodes will be the audio versions of my longer Warhammer lore videos, with occasional deeper dives into the strange little pieces of the setting that send me down another rabbit hole.

If you're here for the lore, you can absolutely skip this one and start with the main episodes.
