On this episode of 40Rollz, we welcome 4 stripe blue belt Rick Braun to the lioness's den! Although a fully stacked blue belt, Rick talks about his long history of dabbling in Jiu Jitsu throughout the years. 

Despite his size and being an absolute beast on the mats, Rick also has a very gentle, and respectable side when rolling, which makes many of us women comfortable being his training partner. A husband, dad, and career man by day, and so many other interesting things that peak every ones interest. 

Protect Your Peace, MKE (aka Kristin Joy) is in the HOUSE!! On this episode of 40Rollz, Kristin graciously takes us down a challenging path of her past, which interestingly enough, brought her to the forefront of Jiu Jitsu. Her love for Jiu Jitsu and protecting herself eventually inspired her to create her business, Protect Your Peace, MKE.  Kristin is currently a two stripe purple belt who has a very unique style when rolling that leaves a long lasting impression with people she encounters, in a good way.
 
A head strong party kid years ago , who began raising herself at age 16, became a world traveler seeking for her purpose in life. She ultimately stumbled upon the boxing world in Thailand  while visiting her father, which peeked her interest into boxing. She expresses how she ultimately fell into the Mixed Martial Arts world, which eventually brought her full circle to training BJJ, and creating her business Protect Your Peace MKE.

On this episode of 40 Rollz, we welcome 2 stripe purple belt Dan Doering from Neutral Ground Academy, and loving husband to 40 Rollz personality, Irma Doering. 

Dan takes us down the road of a serious neck injury which has ultimately caused him to sit out for some months. He talks about his motivation to stay in the BJJ game while also navigating through the trials and tribulations of being a police officer. He may have  been out for several months, but he's picking up the pieces for his epic comeback on the mats!

Lily has been training BJJ since 2016 and is currently a purple belt who manages and coaches at Neutral Ground Academy.
