41.// Hurry Less, Time is Life, How To Live Live A More Full Life, How a Hurried Life Empties Your Soul

Listen Later

Hey Friends!

Welcome back to another episode! I start off by sharing a little bit about our week, the things we were up to as a family, how we found a massive deal on organic blackberries and what we did with them. We then chat on the topic of hurrying less. Our world is busy, it never stops, it's always seeking instant gratification. It's no wonder we struggle with slowing down, having patience, staying focused, anxiety, etc.

That is not a way to live life my friends.

The saying goes…”Time is money”

What if we shifted that concept to…”Time is life

If we want the fullest life then we must find the fullest time. To find satisfaction in life and feel full then we must sit in patience, in the moments, and slow down. If we are always in a hurry, we are never fully entering in to the present. Sometimes it can be a source of coping…hurrying from one thing to the next to avoid pain, the hurt, the reality of whatever you’re dealing with.

Hurry empties a soul

Living a slow, intentional, grateful life fills the soul

Wherever you are at my friend, I hope you can find moments to slow down, calm the thoughts, and become more present in areas of your life that need more of you.

Enjoy this episode and please share this with anyone you know who would love to be encouraged in this way.
