Leon's written for the Boston Globe, New Yorker, Slate, etc, but the reason he's on my show is because he just wrote a book called The Next Next Level: A Story of Rap, Friendship, and Almost Giving Up. The subject of that book is the rapper and artist Juiceboxxx, who is my guest in part 2 of this double podcast. We talk about his book and his career and the many many feelings and thoughts I had about his book on this great episode. It's one of my favorites.
