When a 14 year old's body is discovered floating in a river in Baraboo, Wisconsin, police ultimately rule the death a tragic accident. However, when one year later, a thirteen year old boy is kidnapped from his home in the middle of the night by his seventeen year old neighbor, the town of Baraboo discovers that there was a twisted monster living in their midst in the shape of 17 year old Joe Clark.
