This week, Michigan Democratic State Senate candidate for most of the Upper Peninsula, Kelli Van Ginhoven, talked with me about her her campaign on Michigan's Premier Progressive Podcast.

I asked KVG if she thought of herself as a progressive Democrat, and KVG said in today's time, being progressive is "essential."
