Tammy Ecker needs a double lung transplant. She is in the final stages of COPD which has lived with for over 10 years.

She has raised theree girls on her own, went through two abusive marriages. Tammy and her sisters where also raised by a divorced mother. When she moved in her 1980's trailer in the year 2000 she had to rebuild it. Tammy said she moved in on a wing and a prayer. Had no refrigerator. No stove. Used an ice chest and cooked outside on a grill.  Today because of COPD she is on the list for a double lung transplant. During all of this she has kept her sense of humor and explains why and how she has done it. Presently, she has alot to live for with three daughters, five grand kids, two neices and her man Gene McGuire.
