Thought they would appreciate and respect everything you’ve done, but it turns out they don’t seem to care? Your experience and expertise seemed like nothing to them? That’s because no one cares about what you’ve done. They only care about what you do for them. We often times let our egos get in the way. If you enter into a new situation, with a new person you need to let go of that ego. You’ll have to take several steps back and start over. You can’t fight for the opportunity to tell them what you’ve done for others, you have to beat down the door to show them why you can do for them. People value what you do for them, not what you’ve done in the past. Be willing to take your ego out of the equation, take a few steps back, and start over. You have chosen certain experiences that have given you unique wisdom. Experience is everything. Most people aren’t willing to go through enough experience to succeed. No one felt smart when they started something. Any time you start doing something new, negative thought will cloud your mind. The #1 thing Entrepreneurs are afraid of is failing.
