François and Gunnar’s opinions about the upcoming vote on a potential ban on e-scooters in Paris🇫🇷 on 2nd April, How Troopy has grown and where its going, and the importance of dominating your home turf before you can consider yourself to be profitable
Alumni of EMLYON Business School & Polytechnique in France. François is an entrepreneur and a mobility expert who’s currently the Managing Director of Troopy, one of the European moped sharing companies, based in Paris.
After a career in Strategy consulting, he became a top manager at Flixbus, developing the B2B business in Europe, then becomes a VP at EasyPark Group.
And then joined Troopy in 2022 to help the company scale from 6 employees to 150 and , 250 mopeds to 3.000 mopeds by the end of 2023.
François is strongly committed to diversity, equity and inclusion, being part of working groups at European commission and in other circles, emphasizing this engagement in a book by the name :“Lettre à un jeune manager” published in 2022 (L’Harmattan).
In 2023, with 4 other influential mobility actors, he also launched the Intermobility network, to create a strong community of founders & experts around tomorrow’s mobility.
