44. A Simple Self-Love Practice to Soothe You When You Are Suffering

Today I am sharing one of my self-love go-to practices for soothing your mind, body, and soul when you are anxious, overwhelmed, or about to go down the route of treating yourself harshly.  

This practice works with both the "big S" sufferings in life as well as the "small s" everyday kinds of sufferings we all encounter in this human experience. 

I'll share the poem, Each Part, from my book, Your Light is Rising. Then I share about how mindfulness and compassion are the "two wings" of awareness. And then I share with you this go-to embodiment practice that validates, soothes, and nourishes us in times of suffering.
