As an experienced change agent Shiraz works closely with Boards, Executive Teams and Providers to implement strategies for improving performance and experience. His ability to hardwire innovation and excellent operational practices help organizations make a significant step-change in their finances, performance, and customer satisfaction. As a Master Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma, Shiraz has implemented bespoke training, capacity development programs for staff, and crafted management operating systems in aerospace, energy, and healthcare. The hospital implementations he led have won leading practice awards and notable commendations from Quality Accreditation bodies including Joint Commission and Accreditation Canada. Over the past few years he has helped activate an $8 Billion USD Cornell-affiliated hospital project in Qatar through the development of critical business and clinical processes, policies, workflows, and 26 new medical services. He had the unique opportunity to bridge together 95 nationalities and ways of working into a common operating system through the introduction of strategy deployment, cascaded huddles, KPIs, and front-line led problem-solving.
