His writing on the Olympics has appeared in places such as the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, The Nation, and Time Magazine. Previously, Jules was a professional soccer player representing the U.S. Olympic Soccer Team in international competitions. He teaches political science at Pacific University in Oregon.
