Transitions inside the classroom are a key tool to managing classroom behavior. It’s not something that can be implemented and expected to work after one try. It’s all about consistency. When you’re consistent in the way you transition your students and your expectations of yourself and of your students align, you will start to see a change. You’ll start to feel like transitions are much smoother and more effective.
