As days turn into weeks, during this pandemic, it may be getting harder to do the right thing, such as staying at home. Eventually all actions come down to the choices we make.
Do people sometimes wonder how do individuals, in times of crisis, step up and help? In the medical profession, we do it because it’s necessary, even though it’s not always easy. We all as individuals do this and have that ability to act better. The vast majority of us are stepping up in this crisis, and so much of it is a choice, but as time drags on, it may become harder.
In this episode, I’ll share with you a personal story of when I had to put my fears behind me as an inexperienced medical resident about to deliver my first baby. I was scared, and so was the mom. It’s a quick episode.
I have also created, for free, The COVID-19 Pandemic Guidebook: How to Stay Safe, Sane and Healthy in a Pandemic. At the request of a few people. It’s a useful easy to read book with some practical tips on how to protect your family, when and how to wear a mask, proper handwashing technique, home safety issues, how to deal with fear, grief, strengthening your immune system, how to deal with self-isolation, not driving each other crazy, checklists, tools and so much more.
You can pass it on to others. I hope that it will help us through this time. I couldn’t attach it to the email, so you’ll have to go to the website. If you want me to email me directly, please ask and I’d be happy to. May your you and your loved ones be well.
