Rod Julian is today's guest. He grew up in a small Indiana town playing team sports year-round: football, baseball, and basketball. Conquering challenges and setting new goals drove him, and being out on the field was a fantastic way to channel his energy. After high school, physical goals took a backseat to completing a Bachelor’s degree in finance from Indiana University, a successful career in business strategy and marketing, and building a family. In 2012, he decided to make some changes in his life and re-focus on health and fitness in addition to his other passions. He started small with some 5K races and casual obstacle course racing, and over the past 10 years, he has done roughly 150 obstacle course races, mainly Spartan races.
