Aaron Cross is a husband, father, fisherman, firefighter, outdoorsman, surfer, and Jiu-Jitsu enthusiast.  Aaron advocates for the empowerment of communities through Emergency Medical Training (EMT) a skill set he acquired during his time as a firefighter and rafting guide in the Grand Canyon.  

Aaron was the first member of his family to attend college and graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Science and History.

Aaron’s immediate humility is what originally attracted me to him. On the exterior he is your stereotypical “mans man”, but moreover, he is someone that listens, someone who is sincere with his words, he thinks deeply about his place and purpose in this world… and he loves to go fishing. Prior to this episode, I asked Aaron what he regards as his life’s most notable achievements and he highlighted a long and happy marriage, fathering his 3 amazing children and his profound relationship with his grandfather.
