(PART 1) I have a Dance instructor/choreographer, wife, and dog Mom, Nicole on the podcast today. She shares her experience of being diagnosed with breast cancer at the young age of 30 years old. She walks us through the timeline of when her symptoms started, to getting her bilateral mastectomy surgery and everything in between. She shares the tests she had done, to what surgery could look like, and how she felt during each step. She gives tips on many aspects of what she endured. Her advice from this journey was to always your own advocate, push for results, get second opinions, and have a strong support system beside you.
