Paul was clear that salvation takes place on the individual level. God saves individuals not families or nations. Although salvation is an individual decision, there are a variety of corporate results of my personal belief in Christ. One of them is that I am made a "partaker of the inheritance of the saints in light..." I now stand in a heritage of believing people that goes all the way back to the likes of David, Moses, and Abraham. What a privilege and responsibility! It becomes our sacred devotion then to "keep the faith" and "commit the same to faithful men."
