Rather than trying to teach these 13 verses one by one, here are the characteristics of Christian living they cover so that you can study them later:

I want to walk with God better. That just doesn't happen. I realized three things I need to do in order to grow stronger in my walk with the Lord.

First, consider the markers of others who are getting it done.

They pray...a lot.

They memorize scripture.

They recognize spiritual warfare.

They realize they can fall.

They drip with humility

They live with intentionality

They make decisions and move on

Second, I don't just need the how to...I need the want to!

There are multiple verses that speak to how to live a life of spiritual disciplines and godly living.

The problem is not finding the "how to"...the problem is having the "want to"

Right now, I am as near to God as I want to be.

Right now, I am as faithful and obedient to the Lord as I want to be.

Right now, I am as joyful, glad, and loving as I want to be.
