Rather than trying to teach these 13 verses one by one, here are the characteristics of Christian living they cover so that you can study them later:

I want to walk with God better. That just doesn't happen. I realized three things I need to do in order to grow stronger in my walk with the Lord.

First, consider the markers of others who are getting it done.

They pray...a lot.

They memorize scripture.

They recognize spiritual warfare.

They realize they can fall.

They drip with humility

They live with intentionality

They make decisions and move on

Second, I don't just need the how to...I need the want to!

There are multiple verses that speak to how to live a life of spiritual disciplines and godly living.

The problem is not finding the "how to"...the problem is having the "want to"

Right now, I am as near to God as I want to be.

Right now, I am as faithful and obedient to the Lord as I want to be.

Right now, I am as joyful, glad, and loving as I want to be.

One of the most frequently asked questions a Pastor gets is, "How can I know the Will of God?" What is God's plan for my life? God's will is for you to become more like Christ. God's ultimate goal for your life is not comfort, but character development. He wants you to grow up spiritually.

1. God Transforms Your Moral Will. (vs. 1-2)

There is a glorious hope for Israel, and for this World all found in the Promise of Christ.

• Through Christ is complete Forgiveness.
• Through Christ is all honor and glory.

The callous heart of Israel reminds us there is a remnant. The callous heart of people reminds us that people can be saved.

Can you testify that gathering for worship is not an option for you...but a delight!

3. Be absolutely certain of your calling Romans 10:14-15

Every believer has been created by God to be a witness to the gospel of Jesus

Every believer has been redeemed by God to be a witness to the gospel of Jesus

Every believer has been called by God to be a witness of the gospel of Jesus

4. The absolute Certainties Every Person Needs to Know For believers, heaven is an absolute certainty!

Life is short and uncertain
