Paul's first journey headed to Galatia. We learn of the Churches that are established in this Providence which is Iconium, Lystra, Derbe and Antioch in Pisidia.

• According to The Book of Galatians Paul's motive was: (Gal. 1:1-5).

• The Sovereign decree of God to save.
• Christ died for our sins.
• God's Grace and Peace.

Missionary Henry Martyn said, "The Spirit of Christ is the Spirit of Missions and the nearer we get to Him, the more intensely missionary we must become." Paul is considered the Great Missionary. He made three (3) Missionary journeys.

The beginning of the Journey's start at Antioch. Antioch evangelized at least forty different cities with the advancement of the Gospel.

What is God's wrath?

God's wrath, in perfect harmony with all His divine attributes, is the holy action of deserved and proportional eternal condemnation upon unbelievers for sin.

The wrath of God is the response of a holy and righteous God against sin and sinners who have not been covered by the atonement of Christ.

God's wrath is the settled, determined, eternal righteous response of God in punishing unrepentant human sin.

Why is sin against God such a big deal?

Five different expressions or descriptions of the wrath of God in scripture:

1. Eternal wrath
2. Eschatological wrath
3. Cataclysmic wrath
4. Consequential wrath
5. Wrath of abandonment

The Good News is that God has provided the way of deliverance from His wrath:

Romans 3:21-26

Romans 5:1-10

God's wrath and God's love met at the cross

I John 4:9-10 and Romans 8:1

God shows Himself just, for sin is punished in Christ. God also shows Himself full of mercy, for the atonement of Christ means that He can now be totally forgiving of sinners who turn from their sin and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, being eternally redeemed through the shedding of His blood.

He will fulfill His promises in our lives. God used the experience of what happened with Joseph to stir their consciences. God uses these failures to bring them to repentance. God assures us that He forgives our sins and makes us acceptable to Him.
