It’s hard to be a great listener because we want to be heard so we speak. However, if we want to really matter and be loved, then the most important skill to develop is the art of being a great listener. When we listen, we learn, we feel empathy and when we know how other people really feel we can lead them to where they want to be. Ultimately, we can self-fulfill and really matter all by listening first.
