Happy Wednesday! Jocelyn Parkhurst here. In my first Warrior Wednesday, I offer a look at how to get started moving the body. The first step is to create momentum. Do the smallest thing to get started. What I did was just go out and take care of my birds 3x a day. That led to doing more work in the yard and my "Miyagi school of warrior training" workouts.

I help high-achieving women who have experienced abusive relationships create hope, courage and confidence to own their thoughts and love who they are through mindset tools and spirituality. As a domestic abuse survivor, I used high achievement to gain significance and create connection. Yet, I always put others first, draining myself until I felt resentment and unfulfilled. Learning how to use mindset tools and spirituality to create new beliefs and stories -- putting myself first and giving to others from the overflow -- created confidence, self-love, and certainty that I could own my thoughts and my future.
