I remember having a session with my coach at the time Lena Moxon and talking about my marriage. I remember feeling unseen and disappointed that I wasn't receiving love in my preferred way ie my love language! It had been something that repeated in my marriage ever since I found out about the 5 Love Languages and Lena's perspective on this really changed the trajectory of my marriage! Coaches are powerful!
So whilst love languages are a powerful modalities to be aware of, they can also blindside us to the ways our partner naturally shows love.
