天道章第四十七
不出戶，知天下；不窺 牖，見天道。其出彌遠，其知彌少。是以聖人不行而知，不見而名，無為而成。

第 四 十 七 章
不 出 户 ， 知 天 下 ﹔ 不 窥 牖 ， 见 天 道 。
其 出 弥 远 ， 其 知 弥 少 。
是 以 圣 人 不 行 而 知 ， 不 见 而 明 ， 不 为 而 成 。

Dì sìshíqī zhāng
bù chū hù, zhī tiānxià﹔ bù kuī yǒu, jiàn tiāndào. Qí chū mí yuǎn, qí zhī mí shǎo. Shì yǐ shèngrén bùxíng ér zhī, bùjiàn ér míng, bù wéi ér chéng.

47. Knowing
Without taking a step outdoors
You know the whole world;
Without taking a peep out the window
You know the colour of the sky.

The more you experience,
The less you know.
The sage wanders without knowing,
Sees without looking,
Accomplishes without acting.


不出屋门便可知天下，不望窗外便可见天道。出去的越远，知道的越少。
所以圣人不必经历便知道，不必看见就明白，不靠努力而成就。
