The Strategy: The viper understands Causality —it knows that a bird's survival depends on a lightning-fast reaction to moving insects. The Divine Setup: Because the snake's body is colored exactly like the limestone rocks of its habitat, the bird's eye ignores the snake, seeing it as a mere boulder. How could a blind process "know" exactly what a spider looks like to a bird?
