#47: For my spenders: Can you ACTUALLY afford that?
In today's episode, I'm specifically talking to all my natural spenders and my free spirits out there. You guys are an ASSET to a marriage especially when your spouse is a natural saver! Because there will be a point where the saver should actually spend money to have some fun in life, so that's where you come in! So there's nothing wrong with spending money if you have it.
But, here's the problem I see with my free-spirited clients...
you may be buying things and spending money you don't have WITH AN UNSTABLE FINANCIAL FOUNDATION. And eventually what happens to your life over time is similar to a Jenga game. With enough purchases adding up and an UNSTABLE financial foundation, your financial life could crumble.
So, make sure you have a strong financial foundation FIRST using this quick 3-question checklist I map out in today's episode so that you can know with CONFIDENCE if you can afford that purchase, or not!
