What are these emotions, why do we have them, and where do they come from?

 Stress - pressure or tension exerted on a material object. – That’s not the one Stress - a state of mental or emotional strain or tension resulting from adverse or very demanding circumstances. Challenging situations (Perceived)

 

What is Anxiety - a feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease, typically about an imminent event or something with an uncertain outcome.

 

Worry - a state of anxiety and uncertainty over actual or potential problems.

 

Now potential is a key descriptor in this. It’s important to understand because it doesn’t actually mean that there is a

challenging situation and or an actual problem.

It’s the perception or anticipation of a potential problem.

 

Some of us allow information in (or noise from external factors) and our brain is the amazing efficient factory of thoughts that are produced automatically, especially if we’ve practiced them over and over again. It’s like an assembly line that produces the same product over and over.

 

Our brain's product is thoughts.
