The music and the influence of producer, singer, writer, and multi-instrumentalist Felton Pilate is wide and deep.  As a side man for artists on the Stax label, he was a part of the southern soul of a generation.  As a founding member of the band Con Funk Shun, he made his mark on the music of the 70s and 80s.  As a producer, he made his mark on the 90s and 00s, and those artists he mentored are still making music and passing the torch.  And with a new album, 'More Than Love,' Felton and Con Funk Shun are back at it, as strong as ever.
