Meditation helps me with having a heightened level of awareness, especially with my thoughts, feelings and behaviours. Other then for the practice of meditation, there is no method to develop control over the totality of the mind truly. The goal of meditation is to go beyond the mind and experience our essential nature—which is described as profound love, peace, happiness, and bliss. An important part of meditation is an awareness of our thoughts and feelings as they happen from moment to moment. It's about allowing ourselves to feel the present moment profoundly and clearly. When we do that, it can positively change the way we see ourselves and our lives. Becoming more aware of the present moment can help us enjoy the world around us more and understand ourselves better.
