I once heard someone say, “Quantity time is a precursor to quality time,” and this past month has proved just how true that is—in my marriage, my home, and my business.
Things rarely unfold on our timeline, mostly because we expect instant quality without first making room for quantity. Our homes need time to be lived in before we know how they’re meant to serve us. Our relationships need minutes—not just moments—or every “quality time” window turns into life admin instead of connection. And in business, especially when you’re working in the margins like I have been for nearly a decade, trial and error naturally stretches out. This is normal. And it’s okay.
What matters is what we do next. Are we making space for quantity? Are we allowing enough margin—in our homes, calendars, and businesses—for growth to actually take root?
Today’s episode dives into all of that: what I’ve learned, why it matters, and how I’m choosing to lean into the quantity so the quality has room to show up.
