America is a patchwork of cultures and nationalities, of immigrants seeking a better life.  Guest Mike Nguyen is a first generation American whose life has been shaped by the experiences of his parents and  ancestors from Vietnam.  Today Mike is the executive director of a non-profit in Houston, Texas created by his father called VN Teamwork, which provides outreach education, social services, and affordable housing for low-income and the underserved.  Listen in to incredible story of the Vietnamese Boat People and the journey that lead Mike to his current position.
