49: Macallan 12 Year vs GlenAllachie 12 Year Single Malt Scotches

Listen Later

Today I pit the mighty Macallan 12 Year Sherry Oak against the upstart of sorts, the GlenAllachie 12 Year Single Malt Scotch Whisky. In the short time they've been running, in relative Scotch terms of course, the GlenAllachie have made a name for themselves in making great, Sherried Whiskies. They don't colour or Chill-filter their Whiskies either and with Billy Walker taking over several years ago have been going from strength to strength. Is it enough to knock the Macallan 12 off it's perch? Let's find out...and brace yourself for this one.
With John Chidgey.
