Things got HEATED on Day 4 of San Francisco 49ers Training Camp as the pads came on and tempers boiled over.
Dre Greenlaw and Christian McCaffrey got into it after a physical play near the sideline, setting the tone for an intense practice. Just moments later, Fred Warner ignited a full-on brawl involving multiple players, forcing Kyle Shanahan to step in as frustrations mounted across the field.
But it wasn’t all chaos — there were major standouts emerging on both sides of the ball.
Mike Evans continues to dominate camp, highlighted by an incredible one-handed touchdown catch and multiple connections with Brock Purdy, who finished 11-of-15 on the day while playing more conservatively than usual.
Rookie wide receiver De’Zhaun Stribling is quickly becoming one of the biggest stories of camp, consistently producing regardless of quarterback, coverage, or situation — showing signs of being a versatile weapon in this offense.
On defense, Osa Odighizuwa looks like the 49ers’ most disruptive lineman so far, while Romello Height flashes elite explosiveness off the edge. Keion White, Nick Martin, and Marques Sigle also made strong impressions.
