That’s five deserts, five ultramarathons and over 1,000kms all in just one year.

With the state of the Aussie Dollar, going on a cruise could be one of the best ways to combat the exchange rate when heading overseas.

Brad Kennedy from Cruiseabout told Bill McDonald on 4BC Mornings, "cruising is a great way for people to avoid currency fluctuations and bill shock at the end of your trip."

Over half a million people cast their votes on the first day of pre-polling yesterday, smashing the record numbers in 2022.

The lines continue to grow at polling centres today, including up in the Sunshine Coast seat of Fairfax.

Shadow Energy Minister Ted O’Brien told Bill McDonald on 4BC Mornings, "The vast majority of people, they're just bewildered as to why things are so tough."
