There’s been a lot of pushback related to the Moreton Bay council issuing compliance notices that threaten large fines for homeless residents at Suttons Beach park in Redcliffe. 

Beau Haywood, the founder of local food charity Nourish Street has been assisting the homeless in the area and he told Bill McDonald on 4BC Mornings, "When you become homeless, depression kicks in pretty quick, and then when you've got to move on like this, it really does impact your mental health."

A major leak of confidential files from Australia’s biggest taxi company has exposed accusations from its own senior staff that it failed to stop rampant rorting of passengers and government organisations.

The leaked documents from A2B, the company behind 13cabs, Silver Service and Cabcharge, detail explicit allegations to the firm’s top executives that failing internal controls had enabled “eye-watering fraud” to continue for years.

Gerard Rennick was elected as a member of the LNP and sat with the Liberal Party in parliament, until resigning from the party last year to sit as an independent with his own People First Party.

NSW Health is reviewing the care provided by two Sydney nurses who were suspended from their positions after making antisemitic comments to a Jewish influencer online.
